For the last 15 years, I have worked as the executive officer for an industry association and farming systems group, however, in 2020, I made the decision to apply my skills and expertise on ensuring the successful future of our family business. We operate a family farm in the Limestone Coast of SA, which currently has 3 generations involved, so working on our succession plan was of the highest priority, along with looking at ways of continuing to expand and grow to meet the needs of all involved.
Working in large membership-based associations and our own family business has shown me that conflict and disputes can not be avoided, especially when working and living in regional and rural communities.
It is very often difficult to avoid a conflict situation, no matter how hard we try. It is important to know how to make the best use of your skills and knowledge to achieve a peaceful and productive life.
I look forward to chatting with you about how I can help you achieve a positive outcome next time things aren’t going as you would like.
